Back in September, I was selected to try a new Lancôme product thanks to Bzzagent. This would be a 4-week test to see how the product worked for me. I was excited because I hadn’t tried a Lancôme lash product before. So I was curious sot see how well it worked for me.
The product
The Lancôme CILS BOOSTER LASH REVITALIZING SERUM arrived in a lovely gold box. The serum is in a tube that has a brush applicator.
You can apply the serum twice daily in the morning and evening. It’s stated to help fortify and revitalize your lashes.
I don’t have brittle lashes or a lash loss. I have average lash loss from rubbing my eyes or things like that.
Either way I was interested in seeing how the product worked for me.

The application process
The serum is clear to a milky consistency. The applicator is a wand with a brush tip. The brush is tapered. You are to apply it along the lash line (upper and lower lashes) then use the tip of the brush to swipe the serum outward.
I had to screenshot the info and the brush tip image from Lancome’s product page because my images didn’t turn out too well.
I would like to add a note of caution if you wear contacts you may want to wait for the serum to dry before applying them. Also you do need to wait before applying mascara.
My before photo
Here’s a photo of my lashes before applying the serum. I have always had decent lashes and lash length. I do feel that i have more lashes on my right side as opposed to my left.
as the weeks went on
I applied the serum twice daily in the morning and in the evening. I will say that when i first applied the product I may have applied too much. I also noticed a slight tingling of my eye lids.
As the weeks went on I did notice a difference in my lashes. I will say that results may vary from user to user. I think i saw results about a week after applying the serum.
The final result
After 4 weeks of use, I thought my lashes do look fuller and longer. I didn’t have any discoloration of the eyelids or other adverse reactions. My eyes didn’t feel itchy there wasn’t any swelling either.
Final thoughts
I was thankful to Bzzagent and Lancôme for the product testing opportunity. I will say that everyone’s results will vary. Depending on how much serum is applied at a time the product can last you more then 4 weeks. I still have some serum in the tube.
I do have at least one con to the product. Since the brush is tapered it is easy to poke yourself in the eye if your not paying attention. I think it would have been easier if the wand had a mascara spool or applicator tip instead.
The CILS BOOSTER LASH REVITALIZING SERUM retails for $49 USD via Lancome. It may also be found at Sephora or Ulta. You will have to check their website for availability. You can visit the links in the post for more info.
