When Kitchen Blitz contacted me and asked me if I would like to review their lemon Squeezer I said why not. Being that I live in Southern California and I have two lemon trees in my yard I figured we can never have enough lemon squeezers.Β

First of all I can’t say enough about the overall design of the product. It offers a nice light weight cast iron design. I love the rubberized grips on the handles because it supports your hands when you squeeze the handles together. Β The low profile is great because we own another cast iron lemon squeezer that takes up so much space it is a pain to put away in a drawer. This one offers a much sleeker design.Β

The over all weight is perfect because the squeezer fit just right in my glass wear with out causing it to tilt. I loved the indentations along the top and the bottom of the inside of the squeezer because it offers the right amount of pressure with each squeeze to maximize your juice flow.

The holes along the bottom are equally spaced and allow for even juice flow. I found that some seeds did slip through but besides that it was nothing but juice. The holes work well for smaller lemons or limes to larger ones. I happened to use a smaller lemon but it did give me a fair amount of juice.Β

When I was done with my small lemon it did leave Β the half of lemon smashed with little to no lemon juice left in it. The squeezer is very easy to clean and worked great.Β
