You’d be surprised to know that many companies offer free samples via Social Network feeds. I will say this following a brand may increase your chances. But some ads just may be targeted ads. This means they tend to follow a pattern of things you searched for or other patterns you have while online. You can read more via this Wikipedia page.

I’ve noticed lately that Instagram and Facebook are the two that have sample requests. Some maybe from brands you follow others may not be out of the blue ads for brands you aren’t familiar with.

They appear as an in feed ad and usually have a notice reads sign up. I’ll post two examples below.

Facebook ad macys example
facebook ad macy’s ad

Some maybe a video such as this Macy’s fragrance sample ad. Oh ads might just be a simple image post.

All the ad will disclose that they are a Sponsored post. You never know what may show up in your social feed. Once you click on the ad or banner that reads signup another window opens and you can fill out your info. The samples can take up to 6 weeks to arrive.

Since many of these ads are shared via SoPost you may be contacted with a short questionaire and asked for a review of your sample. Some brands ask for both others may just have a simple star rating.

So keep your eyes peeled for these posts. You may luck out and have one appear in your social feeds.
