It looks like there is a possible scam making the rounds via Twitter. It involves Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
I don’t know if this will be trending via other social media networks but it might in the coming weeks.
The message
I opened Twitter this morning to see I had a new DM. I viewed it and saw it was from a profile I don’t follow. The profile had joined Twitter this month (November 2022).
It was a very lengthy message.
The profile seems to be connected with a Bitcoin wallet website.
Congratulations!

The red flags
It’s common sense that if you don’t enter a giveaway you probably won’t win one. Also, I don’t have anything to do with Cryptocurrency to that’s a double red flag.
Another thing I noticed was that the website link was linked in a pinned tweet not in the bio as listed in the DM.
I Googled the URL which was listed as narby trade dot com. Well, surprise surprise the search results for that URL didn’t even come up with it. It suggested another valid Australian stock trading platform.
Use common sense
Use common sense when you are sent DM’s like these don’t visit the sites you are directed to in order to claim your prize.
Also if you’ve won something out of the blue especially cryptocurrency think before acting.
What kind of scam is this?
This could be a phishing scam or even a banking scam. I can’t be certain. The DM requests you to sign up for the website to add your Crypto code to their wallet. So I assume it could be a few different scams rolled into one.
Let’s get the word out and alert folks.
