I was recently selected to try an It Cosmetics product thanks to Bzzagent. I was sent a full-size jar of It Cosmetics Confidence in a cream.
The cream is stated to be one of their best sellers. I’ve had mixed results with previous It Cosmetics products so I was excited to see how well this would work.
The moisturizer is sold in 3 sizes. I was sent the 2 oz jar.
The product
It Cosmetics Confidence in a cream is a hydrating moisturizer. it’s stated to work for all skin types. It can be used morning and evening.
According to It Cosmetics, it’s formulated to combat the 10 signs of aging (their working not mine).
The 10 signs of aging are the following (source It cosmetics product page)
- Tone
- Texture
- Radiance
- Elasticity
- Firmness
- Plumpness
- Fine Lines
- Pores
- Wrinkles
- Neck Lines
You may also see results in as little as 2 weeks. The cream may provide up to 48 hours of hydration.
It’s paraben and mineral oil-free, artificial colors, and drying alcohol-free. It’s also vegan.
The cream itself is a bit of a light beige to a yellow shade. It’s to be applied in an upward motion.
The cream’s consistency is thick so a small amount goes a long way.

User experience
I have dry skin. Even during the summer, my skin can tend to be on the dry side. Confidence in a cream was surprising to me. It applies well to the skin. I didn’t have any real redness or skin irritation. It hydrates my skin overnight.
Applying the cream is a bit of a trial and error basis. Since the cream is thick you may have to see what amount works best for your skin type. For me, I found if I dot the cream around my face and blend it out. If i feel that my face is still a bit dry I add a bit more.
You apply it in an upward motion and it absorbs quickly. I found if you add this to your usual skincare routine the hydration factor is boosted.
did i see results?
I can’t say I’ve seen anything major. My skin does feel more hydrated. It also feels nourished but my larger wrinkles are still about the same.
I will admit I’ve been using this only for close to 3 weeks.
My skin does feel a bit smoother.
There are a few cons
I will admit the cream works well at hydrating the skin but I did find a few cons. If you are someone who has sensitive skin or is sensitive to scents this product may not be for you. It’s highly scented. It has a bit of a citrus fragrance.
I also had some slight skin irritation/redness one morning while I was out running errands. I don’t know if it was a sunburn or just a reaction to the sun and heat. So with that being shared, you may want to use sunscreen.
Getting back to the scent for a second. The fragrance isn’t overwhelming but it is very notable. It also fades after the cream absorbs into the skin.
final thoughts
Overall the It Cosmetics Confidence in a cream is a quality product. It does hydrate the skin well. The skin-improving results will take time to see. The cream consistency is thick so a small amount goes a long way.
It did work well to hydrate my skin but I found that the scent was a bit stronger than expected.
It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream is priced from $20 USD (0.5 oz) to $78 USD (4 oz Jar).
The 2 oz jar i was sent retails for $52 USD (prices will vary by retailer)
