Cat’s are interesting pets. I didn’t have one until I was 19. Pal just showed up at my front door. We asked around the neighborhood for a week before we kept him. That being shared it opened a whole new world as a pet owner. I had had dogs growing up so it was different to have a cat.
having to deal with the attitude
My best friend had a cat growing up so I knew cats had attitudes but I’d never really dealt with it.
Some cats are picky they may not like certain foods or even to be petted. They want love on their own terms.

not having privacy
I never knew cats were so needy. There’s nothing like being in the bathroom and having your cat barge in so you can pet them. It can scare you when you’re half-asleep in the middle of the night and the bathroom door opens.
all the toys
Okay i admit it I would go crazy buying Pal and our other cats toys. Little did i know a ping pong ball, an elastic hair tie and a ribbon would work too.
The chats
I think it’s perfectly normal to talk to your pets. Pal and all my other pets enjoyed being talked too.
we love them anyway
No matter what type of pet you have cat or otherwise we love them. They may cause stress or worry but we love them. They bring so much joy to our lives as well.
