I tried a sample of YSL Rouge Voupte Candy Glaze lip gloss a few weeks back.
The product was requested from a social media ad.
The product
The YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ CANDY GLAZE LIP GLOSS STICK was new to me. I’d tried a sample of lipstick a few years ago and liked it. This product offers lip-plumping effects with a hint of color.
When I filled out the request it didn’t give me a choice of shades so they were sent out at random.
The product arrived in a pamphlet.

User experience
The lip glaze was a bit waxy when I first applied it. I was expecting it to give me a hint of color. Which for me didn’t. It was more a a blam or glaze just adding hydration.
The shade was #2 Healthy Glow plumper so that explained the lack of color.
As a whole, as the glaze warmed to my lips it spread more easily. I didn’t notice much of a plumping effect yet I did have some tingling of the lips.
I’ve used it a handful of times and found it does hydrate my lips but it’s more like a lip balm effect. It has a light scent of mango.
I tend to use this when my lips feel a bit dry. It offers a nice layer of protection.
Due to its lack of pigment, it’s nice to use as an alternative to lip balm when I’m out. The sample size will last me a while since I’m not using it daily.

This was a great sample to try. I don’t know if I’d purchase a full-size product in the future. But If I came across one that was in a shade I’d wear I’d be willing to try it.
The product does offer hydration and a slight sheen to the lips. I didn’t have any major lip plumping effects but I assume results will vary from user to user.
