A few weeks ago I was selected to try a product thanks to Bzzagent.
The product was from The Face Shop. I wasn’t familiar with the brand but I’m always open to trying new skincare.
The product I was selected to try was the therapy vegan moisture blending cream.
The product
The cream arrived in a straightforward box.
The box had Korean on one side and a little English on the other. The cream contains Swiss edelweiss flower and leaf extract.
I used Google Lens to translate the Korean side of the box.
The cream jar is a decent size and includes a long plastic spatula.
The jar also includes a plastic protector under the lid.
The cream can be used as your last skincare step during your AM or PM routine. If used during the day you will need to use an SPF.

• Edelweiss Extract – Cultivated in the Swiss Alps, Edelweiss is an herb that helps to soothe, moisturize and provide the look of skin elasticity.
• Thyme Extract – Cultivated in the Valais region of the Swiss Alps, it helps moisturize skin and visibly improves vitality.
• Anti-Aging Blended Complex – A mix of calendula, olive oil and noble laurel that help boost skin renewal.
How to mix the cream
This cream is a bit different it has a gel-like upper layer and a cream base. The layers are separated when you open the jar.
I dipped my spatula into the jar to see what the different layers looked like before mixing the layers.
According to the directions you are to mix the layers with the spatula for 10 seconds. You will see the layers start to combine and turn a light blue shade.
Once it’s completely mixed it’s more of an opaque color and looks thicker.

User experience
During my first use, I noticed a small amount of cream goes a long way. I applied it to a clean face with no other skincare. I usually do this to make sure I don’t have any skin reactions. I also do this to see how well the product works alone.
I liked the way it blended into the skin. It didn’t leave my face feeling looking too shiny. I did have slight tackiness but I think this may have been because it was my first use.
But I didn’t have any adverse reactions or other skin issues.
It felt hydrating to the skin once the tackiness went away.
I’ve used the product a few times since my initial test. I found that it worked well with a serum I applied underneath. The cream absorbs well into the skin and didn’t cause me any acne.
Overall it worked well to hydrate my dry skin. I will admit that the application process may be trial and error until you find the right amount to suit your needs. But the spatula is easy to use and clean.
The cream has a light floral scent. It fades quickly and again didn’t cause me any irritation or other skin reactions.
My skin texture has improved as well. I noticed a few of my smaller wrinkles have begun to smooth out. Results may vary by user.

Final thoughts
The Face Shop the therapy vegan moisture blending cream was a very effective product. It left my face hydrated and smoother. I liked that it had a light scent. I didn’t have any adverse reactions or acne. As a whole the product did what it stated it would. I would have liked the box to have a bit more English or at least an insert sharing more about it. But that wasn’t a deal breaker. The included spatula was a nice addition.
