On Friday May 1st I shared a quick unboxing video via my Instagram’s IGTV. Derma-E was kind enough to gift me the entire line of their +CBD Relief collection. The box included a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. I’ve never used a CBD infused product before so I was curious to see how it would work for my dry skin.

So today (Sunday 5/3/2020) I opted to try the entire line. I had been using the Serum since Friday night and began using the Moisturizer on Saturday.
Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Cleanser
Product overview
The cleanser is stated to help calm your stressed or sensitive skin. It can be used twice daily morning and evening. The cleanser is a whitish to cream color. It’s gentle on the skin. The bottle is 6 FL oz.
The cleanser does have 250 MG of CBD. According to Derma-E it’s has no THC compounds.

User Experience
I tested the cleanser today. Since I’d never tried a CBD infused product before I was wondering how it would work for me. I liked the cleanser bottle over all the pump top offers a locking feature. I also liked that the cleanser is a cream or whitish color. I used about a pump and a half. I think i may have used too much to be honest.
The overall application process is simple. Dampen your face and pump the cleanser into your hand. work it around your hands and apply to your face. The lather was decent nothing too frothy or foamy. If you use a cleansing brush you may have a different result.
I did notice that the cleanser had a light woody or nutty scent. I figured this was due to the hemp in it.
I did have a bit of a tingling sensation. It wasn’t anything too uncomfortable but I did notice it. I found that it rinsed well. Again I think I applied a bit too much to my face. I had to rinse my face a few times to make sure I removed it all.
I didn’t feel that the cleanser irritated my face in any way nor did it leave it red. I think the redness was due to me wiping my face dry.

Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Serum
Product overview
Like the cleanser, the serum is stated to help soothe and calm stressed skin. This may help calm redness and irritation of sensitive skin. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It has an easy to use pump top as well. The bottle is 2 FL oz. The serum is a whitish or cream shade.
The product contains 500 MG of CBD. The serum can be used twice daily morning and evening. You can use it alone or in combination with the Derma-E +CBD Relief moisturizer.

User Experience
As I mentioned I used the serum starting on Friday night (May 1st 2020). The serum is light weight and absorbs quickly.
The pump top dispenses a nice amount of product and i used about two pumps. Again I may have used too much. You can apply the serum to a cleansed face and neck.
I dotted the product onto my face today and then blended it outward.
I noticed that the serum does have a bit of a nutty scent nothing too bad. I also thought it was a bit oily but again I don’t know if I’d applied too much. It does absorb well into the skin and didn’t seem to cause any redness or irritation.

Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Moisturizer
This is the last product in the +CBD Relief collection. It’s a rich cream formulation. I think a small amount would go a long way. You can use it twice daily once in the morning and once in the evening.
Like the previous products in the collection it’s stated to help calm redness and irritation of sensitive skin. It also contains 500 MG of CBD

User Experience

Overall I liked the rich formulation of the moisturizer. it didn’t seem like it felt like having cold cream on your face. The moisturizer is a cream color.
Since I had removed a spatula full of product I tried to dot it around my face before working it outward. It does blend out evenly and begins to absorb into the skin.
I did notice the cream has a bit of an oiliness to it. Again this may just be because it’s the first few uses. It may have also been due to the fact that I applied too much as well.
Once I worked the product fully into my skin it seemed a bit better. I didn’t feel that my face was too greasy but I did still think my hands felt oily.
I didn’t have any redness or irritation after application.
The moisturizer retails for $19.99 USD for a 2 oz jar.
Final thoughts
Derma-E +CBD Relief Collection as a whole is a unique line of products. If your someone who’s like me and you hadn’t tried a CBD infused product it’s something new to try. I liked that all the products can be used individually or in combination with each other.
That being said I’m very thankful to Derma-E for the wonderful products but I have a few cons.
It’s been a few hours since I’ve used the products now and I feel like my face is oily. That’s not a big deal but i do feel like I have a layer on my skin. Since I just began using the products my skin may need to adjust to them.
I also felt that the cleanser did give my skin a tingling sensation. it wasn’t anything unusual but I did feel it a bit intense around my nose and cheeks. We can go back to my previous comment saying I might need to adjust to the products.
As far as the serum goes I felt it absorbed well. I did notice some oiliness. I’ll try to work it into my skin a bit more.
The only con I have with the moisturizer is that I wish Derma-E provided a spatula or small scoop in the box for easier dispensing. That way I don’t have to worry about contamination.
With all of that being said I found the product to be unique and they seem to work. I’ll keep using them and share further thoughts via a video post in the coming weeks.
