Note/disclaimer: As always I try my best to keep my posts as authentic as possible. This post is not any different. Just an FYI I do post a photo of the boob mask applied to my boobs. I make no excuses for my body. It is what it is.

I was able to select a free Holler and Glow product thanks to Try It Sampling. The Shake Your Coconuts boob mask arrived the other day. I figured since this was free it would be interesting to try. I know body masks are all the rage now. They have so many different kinds that will tone, lift, hydrate, or even detox various areas.

The product

Shake Your Coconuts is a boob mask. From what I could read on the package you apply the football-shaped masks on dry skin. You can wear the mask for 20 to 30 minutes. It was infused with various ingredients to help hydrate and lift your skin.

Some ingredients include Hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, and vitamin E.

user experience

I had seen boob masks in the past and wondered if they worked. I’d even applied a clay mask to my boobs too just to see what it would do.

I was pretty wary of this mask because I figured it might be too small. Well when I opened the packet. I was surprised. The sheet masks were very damp and you could smell the coconut oil.

According to the packet you unfold the masks. There are two stacked together in the packet. They are football shaped as I mentioned. They are easy to pull apart and don’t seem to have much more mask to them.

Applying them may depend on your boob shape and size. Since I’m a 44 DD/E I just applied them to my nipple area. That’s usually the driest part of my skin.

Application was a bit tricky since the masks were so damp. They stick to your skin but may wrinkle. Of course this result may vary. Once I fixed them the best I could I just hung out.

As with any sheet mask they begins to pull away from the skin as they being to dry.

I will say it did give my skin a cooling effect. After around 20 minutes I noticed they were starting to pull away from my skin and wrinkle.

Once again as with any sheet mask the Shake Your Coconuts boob mask changes color as it dries. It went from a vivid yellow to a more mellow yellow.

Did it work?

I will admit the skin around my nipple area did feel a bit tighter. My skin did also feel more hydrated this morning when i woke up as well. And Yes I smelled like coconut for a few hours after using the mask.

Was it anything to rave about?

Not really. But I wasn’t too surprised. I have a feeling this is for someone with perky boobs or maybe someone who is just smaller chested than I am.

Would I try this again?

Maybe if they had a larger or different type of boob mask. It did work to a point which was nice.

Final thoughts

I can say that Holler and Glow Shake Your Coconuts boob mask did work in terms of hydrating my skin. I didn’t see any major difference in lifting or toning the skin.

Also if you love the scent of coconut this may be the product for you.

The coconut design is a bit of a novelty but I guess it better then using a plain sheet mask. Sadly I need something more along the lines of a melon wrap instead of shaking coconuts.

I wasn’t able to find this product at any US retailer (maybe in the future) but I did find it in the UK from Super Drug.

I did find a few other Holler and Glow products sold at Target.

I also found another body mask set from Freeman Beauty that’s sold at Amazon that may interest you.

I can say it was a unique product and may work for someone better than it did me.

Have you tried a boob mask? Would you try one?
