I recently found out that one of my videos was being displayed on another website. Like many of you would think I wasn’t very happy about it. I contacted the website and my video has been removed but I thought I’d share how you can handle this issue as well. If you have an issue like mine and the video is posted outside of YouTube you can follow these steps: Contact the site where the video is being used if they have a contact us. Your email can be simply asking for removal. If there isn’t a contact us you can try finding the site’s host by doing a whois search

If contacting the domain doesn’t help you may have to resort to legal action. That will be something you’ll have to look into on your own. If your video/channel or portion of your video is being used by another YouTube channel you can file a report by either visiting the video and clicking the dots next to the save button. a dropdown list will appear and click report. You can also visit the Youtube report center too.
