As we head into the summer season I thought I’d share a quick post about this HoneyWell fan. I’ve owned it for around a year or so now. I like that it’s compact and can be stored easily. I also like that it is quiet on the lower settings.

I like to use an oscillating fan to help circulate the air while also giving my ceiling fan a rest.

The fan is compact but offers a nice airflow. I like that it offers 8-speed settings. Again it is quiet on the lower settings but can be a bit lower on the higher to the highest setting. It’s not overly loud but it’s about normal for a fan on a high setting.

The speed settings are the following:

  1. sleep
  2. whisper
  3. calm
  4. white noise
  5. relax
  6. refresh
  7. cool
  8. power cool

Power cool is the highest setting and the air flow is pretty powerful.

The Fan also offers a lighted keypad which you can change the light settings in terms of brightness. There is also a timer setting as well. The timer can be set up to 8 hours of continuous use. The settings are for 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and finally 8 hours.

The remote is very basic. It has 3 settings on it the on/off button, fan setting, and the oscillating button.

The remote uses 2 AAA batteries. If i recall correctly they were included in the original box. There is also a place to store the remote on the back of the fan as well.

The sensor for the remote works well across a room and even off to the side of the fan. This may vary if there are objects in the way.

The only con i found with the remote was that I wish it had a light or lighted buttons. When your trying to find it in a dimly light room it can be hard to miss.

Overall I like the fan it’s easy to use and clean. I like the compact design because it can be stored in a closet or placed in a corner during the off season.

The fan is currently priced at $69.99 via Amazon and Target. Amazon also sells it in white as well.
