A few weeks back I shared that I was sent a free sample product from Home Tester Club and Biotene. I don’t suffer from dry mouth often but when I do it’s very annoying. It feels like my mouth is a desert. I was very interested to see what the results of this product would be.
You can check out my initial thoughts in the video below
Product Overview
These new Biotene Lozenges are stated to help with dry mouth. They also freshen your breath. So they are a combination of a breath mint along with helping rid you of dry mouth.
The flavor of the lozenge is refreshing mint. As you can see it’s an icy blue shade. The lozenges come in a blister pack. This box contained 27. They each sheet has nine mints. So these are convent to keep in a purse, gym bag or even an office desk drawer.
The size of the mint isn’t too large or too small. I would equate it to a cough drop or a large size chewable vitamin. The directions state that you let the lozenge dissolve in your mouth.
One side note
I will make one side note. Since the product does contain Xylitol you may want to try this product out when you’re at home. Some people can have some adverse side effects to Xylitol. Basically, to put it nicely you may have an upset stomach or it could cause a laxative effect (That’s stated on the product box). I didn’t experience this but I only had one mint when I needed it. Also, this may not be the case for everyone but I still thought I’d share that just in case.
My Thoughts
All in all, I liked the flavor and the quality of the lozenges. They dissolved evenly and didn’t have a bitter aftertaste. I did notice that they left my mouth feeling hydrated. I didn’t have adverse reactions to the product. The mint flavor is refreshing without being too artificial or sweet. You can use the product as needed. I’ve been doing this because as I mentioned at the start of my post I don’t have dry mouth often.
If you suffer with dry mouth this may be something you’d like to look into. I found that these Biotene lozenges are sold at Walgreens You can also check out the Amazon image below or the links in the post to learn more.
