I recently shared that I was able to select a piar of sleeping shorts from Hanes testing community. Well I got a chance to finally try them out.
The product
I was able to select a free pair o fHanes Originals Women’s SuperSoft Comfywear Sleep Shorts, 3.25″ . The short shade Frosted Peri. It’s a light blue.
The shorts were a size large. They have a wide waist band and have great stretch. The material is 58% Cotton/38% Bamboo/4% Spandex. The are soft and have a flowly feel.
Washing instructions: Hanes suggest you wash them in cold water. I would suggest a low tumble dry to avoide shrinking.
First try on
The day the shorts arrived I tried them on just to see how they fit. Since I had requested a size large I was worried they wouldn’t fit well or be too snug. I usually size up when buying sleeping shorts for comfrot.
I was pleasently surprised that the shorts fit well. Thanks to the wide waist band they offer a lot of stretch. The shorts fit me well. They fit over my tummy with out an issue. I liked that they didn’t bunch up when walking.
I was surprised at how soft the shrots were too. They fit well so I happy about that.
First use
I washed the shorts and found that they did shrink a bit and fade due to me not readin the washing instructions. I will admit the length was a bit short for me. I’m 5ft 3 inches and like a longer short. But I figured for sleeping they would be okay.
I wear them to bed and liked that the shorts were soft and comfortable. I found they do move with you but might ride up a bit. Nothing too bad. I loved that they were cool and didn’t bunch up or bind when I moved around.
Overall the shorts are very comfortable and kept me cool while sleeping.

Final thoughts
The Hanes Originals Women’s SuperSoft Comfywear Sleep Shorts, 3.25″ are nice. I loved that they were soft and comfrtable. They move with the body. They are comfortable to sleep in.
The only issue I had was I wish they had been longer. The sizing was good as well. I would have liked to claim a larger size but I’m glad the fit anyway.
I would purchase these again in a different size. The quality of the fabric is good and they are light and airy. It’s thin fabric but not see through. I also thought that the waist band was good quality.
