Being that Halloween is around the corner I thought I’d share a quick and easy papercraft. I was thinking about paper masks recently. So I did some research and found some fun ones.Β

I like paper crafts because they are so versatile you can put something together quickly. These would be fun to do with your children, grandchildren, class etc. I also like that you can add your own touch of style to them. You can also use them at parties for a photo booth too.

Supplies Needs

Paper (Any kind will do)
Scissors
art supplies (crayons, markers, pens, paints, stencils, stickers etc)
string or sticks (depending on how you’d like to use them)

So I ended up finding these masks. I’ll add a link to them as well.

Other masks can be found at this post. I came across.

If your not the best cutter like I am I’ve found that using smaller scissors helps. It also gives me more control when cutting around curves too.Β

Once I had them all cut out I set to work decorating them.

please excuse my poor cutting skills

I pulled out a few of my art supplies. I used stencils, gel pens, and markers. I’ll add a list of the products that are available at the end of the post.Β

You can use any products you have on hand. I used regular printer paper for my paper masks but if you have card stock or a thicker paper that works as well too.  I decorated the masquerade masks first.

I used my stencils as you can see to add the words Boo and Trick or treat to them. I also had some nail art stickers that fit perfectly because they were Halloween inspired. You can add feathers to these or any sorts of decor. The options are limitless.  You can add a string or elastic to them or a stick if you’d like to use them for a photo booth idea.

I moved on to the cat masks next. Again I had fun decorating them.Β

As you can see I once again used the stencils to add the words Meow and Boo to the eyes. I also used glitter gel pens to color in the letters and whiskers.

I also colored in the Dia De Los Muertos masks as well. Just as an FYI the day is not the same as Halloween. I just figured it was something fun to have on hand.Β

Again i used gel glitter pens and markers to decorate these masks. All in all, this was a fun craft idea. They offer a great way to be creative. These would make a great addition to any Halloween party or photo booth idea.

You can see the gel pens and markers i used below.

I hope you enjoyed these masks. If you did you can find them at the links provided in the post.
