A few weeks ago I requested a free sample of sunscreen via the website Pinchme.com . I had never heard of Goddess Garden organics but I figured what the heck it’s a free sample so why not. When the sample arrived a week or two later I was surprised to see that it contained many natural ingredients. I liked how it had Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. It also came with a card that listed the ingredients on the front and the back showed the harmful chemicals many other sunscreens contain. I had been shying away from using sunscreen lately because some of the brands were drying out my skin and making me itchy. Honestly I let this packet sitting on my desk for a while because I wasn’t spending much extended time outdoors.
Well on Saturday June 6th 2015 I finally got around to using the sunscreen. I had planned a trip to the San Diego Zoo. Before I left the house I applied my sunscreen to my face and neck. I was a little surprised by its consistency. It was a little more liquefied then I was use to but that may have due to the fact that I didn’t shake the sample enough. I mixed it with a little of my regular moisturizer and applied it to my face. I can say this much a little goes a long way. You may have to rub it in through since you do end up with bit of a white face. Once I had it all rubbed into my skin I didn’t have any itchiness or redness. I shared some with my dad who found it easy to apply. He applied it to his arms and didn’t say he had any skin issues. I can say this much it absorbs into your face without clogging your pores. When I got home that evening I noticed that my skin was sun burned. I did wear a hat but even with that my face wasn’t too red nor was my chest. I had some light coloring of course on my chest but nothing too sever. My dad’s arms did get tanner but not burnt. I can say this much I will be purchasing this sunscreen again.
