We all know someone who loves hair care. Be it styling product or even styling tools. I thought I’d give you some easy suggestions for gifts.
Let’s face it we may have a fair amount of hair care products we might not use. Or in some cases aren’t able to use. Case in point I won a giveaway earlier this year and I was sent a mixed box of products. So i thought we could create a DIY gift example with those. I also had a few things here at home that would work as gifts as well.
Now that the long winded intro is done lets get to it.

You can create a gift basket. I use the term basket loosely because you can create a box, bag etc. The package base is up to you.
But here’s what you’ll need.
- a basket, box, bag, etc (that’s up to you)
- your items you will be gifting
- crinkle paper or something to line your container
- Any other accessories, bow, cellophane, or anything else you’d like to decorate your gift with
I repurposed a box that already had crinkle paper in it. Along with two baskets for my idea. I used a smaller basket and a bit larger one.
If you do opt to repurpose a box you can add any type of decoration to it. Or even tape some festive holiday paper to it.
Filling your containter
So it will vary by what you are using. But I used an example for all three containers I filled. If you are only going to give away a few items a box will work.
You can fill it with what you’d like. I just added a few items to give you a visual of how to organize the products.
The box option
if you have any hair accessories you can add them.
I added a sample packet of shampoo and conditioner, some headbands, a hair putty, and a bottle of conditioner.

With the smaller basket I added crinkle paper then added the items.
Since the basket was a bit deeper I could add larger items such as a dry shampoo and a bottle of conditioning spray.
Larger basket
For the larger basket I was able to mix it up a bit and add a few other bottles and a travel hair dryer.
You can customize the gift for the person you are giving it too. Again this was just an idea.
Once you finish with your gift you can wrap it in cellophane if it’s a basket or add your own finishing touches.
