We all know someone who loves cocktails. Even if they are a wine lover there are a large selection of gift ideas for these folks.
diy gift
I figured a DIY gift would be a good idea. Sometimes you may be given a wine or another product you may not use. So why not create a gift for someone.
Here’s what you’ll need:
*all of these items are optional. You can use any container you’d like.
- basket, bag, bucket etc.
- crinkle paper or something to line your container
- items to fill your container.
- accessories to finish your gift. Cellophane, ribbon, bows etc.
I used a beer bucket and a basket. The bucket was a freebie from a few years ago. And yes I’m aware of the irony that it’s a Corona beer bucket since we are currently in the mists of Corona virus.

You can use anything you’d like to fill your gift basket. I just pulled a few bottles out of the closet along with a few other things to use as an example.

If you create a basket you have a few options. You can make one just with liquor or add a bottle and accessories or even create a cocktails.
liqour only
If you opt for a liquor only basket or bucket you can fill the container with crinkle paper and add large or small bottle of the person favorite drinks.
you can also create one with drink mixes or a combination of the two.
a mix bucket
You can also create a basket or bucket with a liquor and any type of accssory. Such as glasses or a cocktail shaker.
You can also change out the liquor but leave the cocktail shaker.
wine lover gift
I created a basket for wine lovers as well. It’s pretty simple and if you find the right glass to pair them with it’s lovely.
a single bottle of wine and a long stem wine glass would work. You can also fill in the basket with accessories or snacks.
If you are giving it as a gift to a couple this also works out well.
stemless wine glasses take up less room in the basket. Again you can add any snacks or other accessories you’d like.
once your done with your DIY gift you can finish it off any way you’d like.
