Gift Ideas for Crafty people

We all know someone who is crafty be it they are a DIYer or they may have a side hustle they use to make extra money. Some of these gifts may be interchangeable for those who are handy too.

let’s start simple

Okay let’s start off simple. For those we know who love paper crafting or scrapbooking or even small crafters. We can always buy them a gift card to their favorite craft store.

Or if you know which supplies they need you can create a DIY craft basket or kit for them.

Some suggestions I have are paint markers, stencils or even a paint set.

Other good gifts would be a self healing cutting mat along with any rulers or cutting supplies.

we all know a DIYer some people like taking on a weekend project. While others may do a complete remodel. Some of these gifts may be very handy for those who are a bit more advanced in their skills or projects.

Level

Levels are handy for anyone who does cutting of wood or even if you are trying to hang a picture or artwork. You can also use them to make sure your project is straight.

a measuring tape comes in handy for many uses. I personally like the large numbered ones because they are easier for me to read. Here’s two that may make great gifts.

Utility knives are always helpful. Because anyone who has used a craft knife knows some of them aren’t strong enough to cut through dense material.

you can also purchase hand saws or other cutting tools such as table saws and the like. But that may be up to the person your giving the gift for.

Saw horses are always so helpful. You can use them when gardening if you place a plank or board on them. You can also use them for a makeshift table. Or if you have cardboard you can use them when you need to spray paint something. They are so versitile.

I currently own two sets of Stanley sawhorse sets and I love them. Both sets of saw horses are very sturdy. Yes they are made of plastic but they are heavy grade plastic. The yellow adjustable ones are nice because you can raise the top of the saw horse to fit your needs.

The black saw horse is one of a pair. They are basic but still useful. They offer cord loops so you can hang a cable from it or help keep cables or cords managed to avoid tripping.

There are other gift ideas as well but I think some of those may need to be a bit more personal for the person you will be giving them too. As we know every person that crafts or does other projects may prefer certain brands over others or they may just favor one product over another.
