As many of you who have come across my blog or social posts know I’m a music lover. I try my best to be unbiased but like everyone, I tend to gravitate to what I like along with what appeals to me. Then again I tend to have an eclectic taste in music. It runs the gambit from pop to country to industrial rock. There is usually a little bit of everything in my collection.
That being said music unites us in many ways. You can feel it emotionally and sometimes even physically. You are able to interpret the highs and lows of some artists or vocalist easily. There is something wonderful about being in a room full of like-minded music lovers. You can see how they span generations at times along with all different backgrounds as well. Concerts are always fun for me because you see so many different people who enjoy the same artist or band you do.
I think we can all attest to having songs that can make us cry or help us through a hard day. The same can be said for songs that make us happy. I for one can say that I have songs that can trigger a full range of emotions. I also have songs that I haven’t heard in years which I sing along too like I heard it yesterday. One of my favorite things to look at is music lists. They always make for interesting reading. Besides that, you can see where your favorite artist may rank.
These lists also allow you to find new music artist you may not be familiar with Top 40 singers list is just one of those examples. You can find a variety of artists and genres to fit your needs.
Music evokes so many different things in us why not take the time to enjoy it. No matter what your preferred genre is or song or band or even artists. Take time to listen. You may be surprised and find beats or notes you didn’t notice before.
