Not long ago I shared about this Derma-E product. You can read the full review here. I liked the gel booster because I could use it alone or with another product such as a serum or my general moisturizer.
Hydrating and not sticky
I liked that the gel absorbed into the skin yet it didn’t leave my face feeling sticky. I also liked that I could use the product on a dry or lightly sprayed face and the product worked the same. I didn’t seem to have any stickiness.
Granted this may vary depending on how much you apply. But overall it worked well with my skin. I didn’t seem to have any irritation or adverse reactions either. The gel also gave my skin a cooling effect too.
daily use
I found that it worked well in the morning or in the evening. You can even use it during the day if you feel your face is feeling a bit dry.
I also liked the dropper because it allows you to control the amount of gel you’d like to apply to your face.
Final thoughts
Overall I liked the Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Gel Booster it helped my dry skin a great deal. I like how easy it was to use. I also thought a small amount went a long way. It worked well with my usual skincare products. I didn’t have any interactions or irritation. I felt the gel booster added a nice layer of hydration to my skin. I also didn’t feel like it caked onto my skin. It didn’t leave my face feeling sticky or tacky. It also didn’t leave any type of film on my face either.
The Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Gel Booster retails for $21.50 USD via Derma-E and Ulta (prices may vary by retailer)
