A few weeks ago I shared that Derma-E had gifted me two sets of haircare products. Well I finally finished the Scalp Relief Shampoo and Conditioner. The products worked well and I liked how my hair felt after using them. Like with any new product everyone my have a different result.

What i liked

I liked that the shampoo and conditioner were light and hydrating. Both products contain tea tree oil so there is a noticeable scent. it’s not too much but it’s there. The products are stated to help with scalp dryness and itching.

You do feel a tingling when you use the shampoo. The conditioner is thick yet it hydrates your hair. It didn’t leave my hair feeling oily or weighed down. I also noticed that it may help soften your hair as you use it. Results may vary. I will make one suggestion since the product does have tea tree oil in it you may feel that your hair has a different texture after using it. So you may want to try a small amount of shampoo first then use a bit more to find the right balance for you.

Did it help my scalp?

I would say yes the products helped my scalp. I don’t have itching often but like most people I have it occasionally. I also felt that it did a good job at tackling my scalp dryness. Again results will vary. I liked the tingling sensation i had too.

Would I purchase this?

I would purchase this. I liked how my hair felt and looked. Again results will vary. But for me i would invest in this even if i only used it when i felt i needed it.

Price and availability.

Both the shampoo and conditioner retail for $11.75 USD (That’s the brand’s price. price may vary) and can be found at Derma-E, Target, and Ulta.

You can watch my video about this product below.

Thanks to Derma-E for these gifts.
