I recently requested a skincare sample. I shared it via Instagram when it arrived nearly a month ago. I like to request many different types of skincare samples because it offers a nice variety. Epionce is no exception.

my Instagram post.

Being that I wasn’t familiar with Epionce I thought it would be an interesting brand to try.

Product Overview

The Epionce Renewal Facial lotion is stated to improve signs of aging along with help hydrate your skin. According to the small sample, it can be applied one to three times a day.

User Experience

So far I’ve tried the sample a few times. It is only a 0.2 oz sample so depending on how much you apply you may get a few uses out of it. I liked the lotion overall. It’s a standard white color and it’s a lightweight formula. It does have a bit of a citrus scent. I found it to be a mix of tangerine and orange.

Applying the product is very simple and as you work the lotion in your hands it becomes clear. It didn’t cause any skin irritation or redness to my face. I’ve applied the lotion to damp and dry skin. Both times I’ve noticed that the absorption of the product is about the same. The hydrating factors are also about the same when you apply it to damp or dry skin.

The Renewal Facial lotion offers a nice hydrating layer yet it doesn’t leave your face feeling greasy or oily. It also didn’t have any interactions with my existing skincare routine.

Final Thoughts

Since this is a sample tube of 0.2 oz it’s hard to tell if it did improve signs of aging. However, I can say I did like the scent and the overall consistency of the lotion. It was lightweight, fast-absorbing and it didn’t give me any adverse reactions. From my research, the full-size product is around $75 USD. That price is out of my usual skincare budget range but if it works for someone that’s great.

The lightweight and the fast-absorbing formula is a plus. The citrus scent is soothing and inviting. You can visit the links provided for full information about the product.
