eb5 skincare: My nighttime skincare routine

I first shared about eb5 skincare back in January of this year. I had won an Instagram giveaway. Well since I had so much skincare that I needed to finish up I left it sitting on the shelf for a while.

That being shared I finally ran out of a moisturizer so I began to use the eb5 product back in late June. I loved it so much its become my skincare nighttime routine.

Like my morning routine (see last week’s post), it’s pretty simple. I don’t always think I need to have an intensive skincare routine during the summer months.

The products

I was sent 3 products in total. It was eb5 anti-aging collection. It was a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. They also sent a sample packet of serum as well.

I wasn’t familiar with eb5 skincare products so I figured this would something new to add to my routine.

eb5 Exfoliating AHA Cleansing Lotion,

I’d never used a cleansing lotion before so it was a new experience. I noticed that it didn’t really foam as a usual cleanser does. It didn’t cause any skin irritation or leave my face red. I liked that it was gentle and can be used twice daily if you’d like too.

The cleansing lotion is what it states to be. It’s more of a lotion style product. it’s thick but once worked into your hands it’s more of a creamy consistency. Depending on how much you apply to your face you may see a white cast to your skin. It rinses clean.

From the slideshow above you can see that after cleansing lotion is on my skin for a minute or two it isn’t white anymore. I usually used it for around a minute or two. I would say that this will have to up to your personal preference.

eb5 Anti-Aging Facial Toner | Alcohol-Free, Balancing and Firming

I did like this toner. It’s very lightweight and didn’t cause any skin irritation. Like the cleansing lotion, this didn’t dry out my skin at all. It’s gentle and very soothing to my skin. I liked that it absorbed quickly depending on how damp my face was when I applied it.

Overall the toner is very straight forward. You apply it to a cotton pad and swipe it across your face. I found it cooling and soothing to my skin as I mentioned above.

eb5 Intense Moisture Anti-Aging Face Cream

I liked the moisturizer because it is a bit thick but once you work it into your hands it softens. I found that a small amount goes a long way. I also didn’t have any adverse skin reactions either. The first time I used it I found that when I woke up the next morning my skin was still hydrated. This may vary from user to user.

After you apply the face cream to your face it may need to be worked in a bit more. I found that it absorbed quickly without leaving my skin tacky or sticky. it also doesn’t have much of a scent at all. I use a spatula to remove the product from the jar. If you’d like some more tips like that one check out this video. I find that keeping my fingers out of the jar helps reduce contamination.

I liked that it left my skin feeling softer and helped with my dry patches. It also seemed to improve my skin tone over time as well. I will say that product states to avoid the eye area. But you can use it just like the other products twice a day. This product is sold in two sizes a 1.7 ounce or 4 oz container. I was sent the 4 oz container. I’ve been using this nightly since June 26th and I still have a fair amount left. I’m guessing i won’t finish it until sometime in September or maybe October.

So…

So as a nighttime skincare routine, I found this to do the trick for me. I liked all of the products and didn’t have any adverse reactions. None of them left my skin feeling too dry nor did they give me any other issues. They have helped improve my skin over time and I feel that they’ve helped soothe any dry spots The face cream has helped with my fine lines and I think it’s even helped reduce my pores a bit.
