Back in December, I had an email from Pinchme. They alerted me that I had a sample offer. The sample turned out to be a new skincare product. I requested it and didn’t give it much thought. I figured it was going to be a small sample pouch. Was I wrong I was sent a sample size bottle.
Product overview
The bottle is a 0.25 fl oz in size. The full product name is the following:
B₃Adaptive SuperFoods™ Stress Rescue Super Serum
The serum is stated to help combat the 5 signs of stress that can induce skin aging. You can apply it twice daily. I liked to use it at night. It’s a thicker serum so a small amount goes a long way.
The Serum has the following ingredients: (Source Dr. Dennis Gross website)
Niacinamide (B3): Essential to our body’s optimal health, Niacinamide (aka Vitamin B3) helps improve lipid barrier function to retain moisture, repair fine lines and wrinkles, and significantly reduce redness and breakouts.
Ashwagandha: High in antioxidants, Ashwagandha is a potent adaptogen that helps skin adapt to stress, treat dark spots, fine lines, and contains potent antibacterial properties.
Goji: Both a superfood and adaptogen, this hybrid ingredient helps to improve skin immunity, reduce redness, protect skin from oxidative stress, brighten and evens skin tone.

User Experience
Overall I liked the product. The serum was cooling to the skin at the end of the day. I also did feel my face was a bit smoother. I liked that it was lightweight. Since it is a bit of a thicker serum it absorbs quickly and left my face feeling hydrated. I used it at night and in combination with my moisturizer. I noticed my skin felt smoother within a few days of using it.
As far as the combating signs of aging I can’t really say I noticed a visible difference. I did think my skin felt smoother when I woke up the next morning after the first use. I didn’t see a vast difference in my visible wrinkles. But overall the product did plump the skin or keep it hydrated.
According to Dr. Dennis Gross‘s website, the product is also sated to help redness and dullness as well. Again I can’t say I saw a major difference but there may be some visible changes for users. The serum is also stated to be for all skin types. I have dry skin so it did help keep my skin hydrated.
Final Thoughts
Overall the B₃Adaptive SuperFoods™ Stress Rescue Super Serum is a nice product. However, it does have a high price point. the 1 fl oz bottle $74 (USD). I did a search and wasn’t able to find the 0.25 fl oz bottle or the price. So for me, this would be out of my usual skincare budget range. I’m thankful to Pinchme and Dr. Dennis Gross skincare for this sampling opportunity. The product is sold at Sephora as well. You may want to check with your local store to see if it is sold in store.
