Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue: A great scent for Summer

A few weeks ago, I posted a scent sample that arrived. I’ve had a few samples from Dolce & Gabbana arrive over the past few months. Some I liked some I didn’t. Well, this new scent Light Blue is one that I liked.

Scent Sample Overview

As you can see the size of the sample tube is average. I did notice that one difference from previous samples however. This sample wasn’t a general spray tester. It has a removeable stopper. I didn’t notice this right off the bat. It struck me as odd when I went to try it and saw it didn’t have a spray head. I can say I liked this option. It allows you more freedom to apply the scent to where you’d like. As opposed to just spraying it on your hair or neck or clothing. It’s a clear perfume too which I liked.

User Experience

I’ve worn the scent a few time so far. I like that it’s light and very subtle. It’s not overwhelming or too fragrant. I liked the clean notes it has. It has a floral scent with a mix of fruitiness.  As I mentioned above it’s very light. I applied it to my pulse points and my neck. I found that the scent mellows as it begins to fade. In terms of wear time it lasted a few hours. This may vary from user to user. This may also depend on how much you apply to begin with. I found the scent complimented my chemistry. It’s uplifting and very much evokes the thoughts of late spring and summer.

Final Thoughts

This would be a great scent for the summer months because it’s light and very subtle. It’s also inviting to the sense. It’s not heavy or a scent cloud. You can apply it and go. If I were to find this, I would definitely buy it.
