Since I had some things left over from the Easter wreath project I figured I’d make another Easter craft.
What You’ll need
- a plastic bucket or basket.
- colorful eggs (Any size)
- markers or paints. I used paint markers
- a glue gun
- something to protect your work surface (I used a trash bag)
- Stencils (Peel and stick or traditional ones work for this project)
You can also add any extras such as Easter grass or ribbon or other embellishments.

Also if you chose to try this project make sure your bucket or basket is a thicker quality plastic. That way it may be less likely to melt.
Creating the bucket
Basically I purchased an inexpensive bucket at my local drug store. I also picked up the eggs there too. I sat the bucket down and figured where to start.
After I found out what I wanted to do I started to letter the eggs. I used a stencil for one but figured I’d hand lettering them would be easier. I used a set of paint markers to do this. Once I wrote out what I wanted to spell I lined up the eggs and placed them where I thought they would look good on the bucket.
Gluing the eggs to the bucket
I will admit this will be tricky. As I mentioned above you will need to have a thicker quality plastic bucket or basket. You will also need to take care not to burn yourself (Like I did). I found it was easier to add the glue to the eggs and then place them on the bucket. This can also help with possible melting of your bucket. I was lucky it didn’t melt.
I had two extra eggs left so I added them to the back of the bucket. If you have excess glue on your project when your done you can warm it with a hair dryer and peel it off. Or you can gently scrape it off too.
you can check out this instagram post to see how Sophie’s bucket turneed out
All you need to do is add Easter grass and your easter gifts and your set. Sophie’s is all ready with Easter grass see
