Earlier this year I won an Instagram giveaway from Planet Beauty. I won a line of products from Dermalogica. This body hydrating cream was part of the 4 items that were included in the original box. You can see my original post here.

the product

This was my first introduction to Dermalogica. I had heard about the brand but never come across it when shopping. I was thankful for the giveaway win and figured this would be a nice selection of products.

The body hydrating cream came in a 10 FL Oz. pump top container. It is green tea and citrus scent.

user experience

I’ve been using the cream for around a week or so. The cream is thick so a small amount goes a long way. it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or oily.

Let’s talk about the scent for a second. Since my bottle had time to settle over the past few months. The green tea scent is very noticeable. It’s not very off putting but inviting. The citrus scent is refreshing too.

on a side note the bottle recently took a tumble so my pump top has broken. Even with that fact i still haven’t stopped using the lotion.

overall the cream is hydrating and nourishing. I used it in the evening after I shower. I noticed my skin still feels hydrated in the morning. This may vary by user.

I liked that the cream absorbs well into the kin. It isn’t so thick that it leaves a film on your skin.

final thoughts

I loved this product. It has an inviting scent combination. It’s refreshing and hydrating. I thought Dermalogica body hydrating cream did what it claimed it would. Even though it was a prize win I thought it was a quality product.

Let’s talk about price. The bottle retails for $32 USD. It can be found via Dermalogica.

It can also be found at Amazon along with Ulta.
