Derma-E was gifted me a few new products this month. I was sent two shampoo and conditioner sets. I was sent Thickening and Scalp Relief.

The products
Derma-E Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner are stated to help add volume and possibly help your hair grow healthier. the bottles have a simple pressure button style dispenser. The products are gentle enough to use daily.
Thickening Shampoo
The shampoo is rather fluid. It’s not so runny you can’t hold it but it’s not like a typical shampoo formula. That being shared it does have a peppermint scent. The product contains peppermint oil.
I did noticed that if you leave the product on too long it may leave your hair feeling a bit dry. This may have been because i used too much shampoo my first use. The lather is nice. You do feel a tingle of the scalp due to the peppermint. If you have some shampoo touch your face you may also have tingling. You can rinse it off with cool water and you should be fine.
The shampoo is sort of a light golden color. It was a bit tough to photo the shade since the product is so fluid.

Thickening Conditioner
Unlike the shampoo, the conditioner is a bit thicker. It isn’t so thick it feels heavy on the hair. It’s creamy and clings to the hair well. It also rinses out clean. I didn’t feel that my hair was left oily or greasy.
The conditioner is a cream color. Like the shampoo, the conditioner also has a peppermint scent. It’s thick so I found a small amount seems to work well. This may vary on your hair length.

User Experience
Overall I liked both products. I will say that since it does have peppermint oil in it you may notice a tingling sensation from the shampoo. You may also have to give your hair time to adjust. I would suggest you use less shampoo at first until you see how your hair will react.
I used a bit too much during my first use and I think my hair was a bit dry. Again this may have just been my experience.
Now, as far as the thickening goes I can’t say I’ve noticed a big difference. I don’t have thinning hair but I did see a difference in my hair’s health. It’s starting to look very shiny and smooth. I’ve only been using the products for around 5 days. So I can’t really state if it’s thickened my hair. I can say the volume is decent and my hair is flowing and not weighted down.

The conditioner is going a good job at leaving my hair feeling soft.
I will say that the peppermint smell is nice. It’s not too pungent or overwhelming. It also fades as well. So you don’t smell like a peppermint candy.
