Since I was sent the Nourishing oil during the summer I only used it a few times. Now that the weather is cooling I’ve used it a lot more.
Over the weekend I had noticed that I had developed an allergy to an eye product I was using. So I spent two days trying to narrow down the culprit. That being said this cleansing oil came in handy.
I had used it before to remove my make up and loved it. All you need is a dime sized amount and it covers your entire face and neck. I like to let it sit for a minute or two before wiping it off. I found that it works well and it helps remove more makeup compared to a cleansing wipe. This is my own opinion.
Well getting back to my allergy test for a second. I spent a good part of my Saturday afternoon with three products on my arm waiting for a reaction.
As you can see from the photo I had eyeliner, waterproof mascara and various eyeshadow shades on my left arm.
Well, i waited a few hours to no avail because there wasn’t a reaction. When I went to get ready for bed I tried to take off the makeup on m arm. I had no success.
I suddenly remembered the Cleansing oil and tried that. I put a few drops on a cotton round and wiped my arm. I let it sit for a few second. It melted away the makeup in no time. I was surprised it made quick work of the waterproof mascara.
My arm was left clean. I didn’t have any adverse reactions. It left my skin soft with a hint of rose scent.
All in all, I will get a lot of use out of this product now that fall is here. It rinses off easily without leaving your skin feeling dry. It absorbs quickly.
You can use it alone or as a makeup remover. Either way, it leaves your skin looking supple and softer.
