Update 9/1/2020: Since I originally crated this post the toner bottle has broken. It slipped out of my hand. But I’m glad I was able to get a few uses out of it before that happened.

Derma-E gifted me this product along with the Anti-Acne kit. I liked this toner overall it’s light and didn’t seem to cause any skin issues. This product can be used in combination with the Anti-Acne kit or on it’s own.

If you chose to use the product with the Anti-Acne Kit you would use it after the cleanser then proceed to use the serum and rebalancing cream.

The Product

The Anti-Blemish Clarifying Bi-Phase Toner is easy to use and has Tea Tree oil, Vitamin E and rose water. That being shared if you have any allergies or sensitivities to rose water you may want to spot test the toner first.

The bottle is a nice size (1.7 fl oz). It is glass and has a removable lid. The toner also has a cover over the opening. It’s a plastic pin. This is good to keep so you can avoid spills.

User experience

Overall I liked the toner. Since the oil does settle at the top of the bottle you will need to shake it before using it. In terms of dispensing it’s easy. You just tilt the bottle over a cotton pad or wash cloth. A few drops is enough.

It’s sort of a golden shade when you apply it to a cotton pad. It does have a tea tree scent but it’s not too harsh.

You apply it like you would any other toner. I found it cooling with a slight tingle do to the tea tree oil. It absorbed well into the skin and I didn’t have any redness. I also didn’t have any adverse reactions.

Final thoughts

Overall the Anti-Blemish Clarifying Bi-Phase Toner worked well for me. I didn’t feel it dried out my skin. It also didn’t cause any adverse reactions. I’ve used it a few times since my initial use. I like that it’s light and absorbed quickly.

I will say if you do opt to use this with other skin care or before makeup you may want to make sure your skin is fully dry. That way you know you won’t have any issues.

The Anti-Blemish Clarifying Bi-Phase Toner retails for $13.95 USD. It can be found at Derma-E Ulta and Sprouts (check your local store)
