I would like to thank Davaon for allowing me to review this hose nozzle.
Most hose nozzles seem to be standard. They are either made entirely of plastic or they are metal. Some are a combo of the two. This Davaon 8-pattern spray nozzle is the latter. As listed on the package it is made of a zinc-alloy nozzle with a ABS and soft rubber body and a nylon Fiberglass trigger.Β
The nozzle comes with a pre-inserted rubber ring that offers a secure hold and a water tight seal when it is installed onto a hose. As you can see the interior is also made of metal.
The nozzle also offers something many other nozzles donβt a knob to switch the flow of water. It allows you to control the flow of water from low to high on any of the spray patterns. This is great for when you are washing a car or when watering seedlings or newly planted plants.
Attaching the nozzle to a hose is like any other. It just screws on with out any problem. I attached it to my expandable hose.Β
I was very surprised by itβs weight. It is a weight to it but it does itβs job well. I found the trigger to be very easy on the hands with out causing hand cramps. This nozzle has a nice trigger clip that when placed over the trigger end allows for a continuous stream.
