According to the Chinese zodiac cycle, the Chinese year beginning in 2018 is the Year of the Dog.Β Those born in the Year of the Dog (2018, 2006, 1994, 1982, 1970, 1958) are honest and loyal, the truest friends and the most reliable partner. ?β€οΈ

The dog in the photo is a Tibetan Mastiff. Costing as much as $1.5 million USD, mastiffs have become a prized status-symbol amongst China’s wealthy, with rich buyers across the country sending prices skyrocketing. Owners say the mastiffs, descendents of dogs used for hunting by nomadic tribes in central Asia and Tibet, are fiercely loyal and protective.
