The simple pickle was the inspiration for this one. If you don’t know, aquavit is a Scandinavian spirit with notes of caraway and dill. It personally love it and it works great in cocktails. I decided to make a riff on a dirty martini. It has some nice vegetal notes coming through and the touch Benedictine nicely accentuates the more herbal flavors of the aquavit. This one would be especially awesome to enjoy in the summer on the patio. But hey, I suppose inside during freezing weather works too. Cheers!
