Colorful #drink
@Regranned from @highproofpreacher – And now for something totally different ? Basically, this is me not taking myself too seriously.
.
Blue cocktails have been largely shunned by the craft cocktail worldβ and rightfully so for the most part. I mean, there is nothing fresh or natural about that color!
.
However, I’ve been seeing some skilled bartenders playing around with blue curaΓ§ao lately and making some truly creative and actually complex drinks. I thought I’d try my hand at it and picked up a bottle of the blue stuff myself.
.
It may look like it’s straight off the menu of a cruise ship or Cancun resort, but it’s hella tastier (and boozier) and not too sweet. Bonus points to whoever can figure out what movie I’m referencing with the name & garnish ?
