This is the first vent car cell phone mount I have used Honestly I had always wondered how well they worked. Well let me tell you it works quite well actually. The soft plastic grips hold the vent well with out causing it to droop once the phone is in place.
It did take me a few tries to install the vent mount because the the vents in our car are vertical instead or horizontal but once I was able to install it it stayed in place.
I was surprised to see how wide the the grip expanded thanks to it’s internal springs. I first tested the mount by placing my dad’s Samsung Galaxy S 5 with the Otter box defender case including the belt clip in the grip. It held it with out any issue. I switched to my moms standard case phone instead. Once it was in place it held well with out any issue.
This would be great for anyone who uses their phone as a navigation device. It would also be great for hands free calling. All in all it’s a sturdy vent mount and it’s small enough to keep in your bag or in the glove compartment. For more info please visit the links below.
