I recently came across a Cartier perfume sample request. I’d never tried this brand before so I figured I’d try it. Well the sample spritzer arrived last week. I was very excited to try it.
I tried the perfume sample on Friday. This was rather unique in its application process. Since the sample was sent in a small cardboard spritzer. I had encountered this type of sample before from another high-end company. So when i went to put on the perfume i pulled up the nozzle portion and squeezed the center. To my surprise, I think i had one full spray out of it. I was a tad disappointed that it didn’t have more in it. I squeezed the center again and had another small spray. Besides that, I just rubbed the remaining product onto my pulse points.
Overall the perfume is a lovely scent. It’s light and floral. It has subtle hints of jasmine and gardenia. There are also notes of possible citrus as well. The scent was long lasting. Even as it faded you still had subtle whiffs of it as i moved around.
The price point is a bit high but if you like to splurge on fragrances this may be one for you. Personally, I liked that it worked well with my own chemistry and it didn’t seem to be heavily alcohol based either. The scent as I mentioned is very floral. Nothing too overwhelming mind you but that is the prime scent.
