Back in June, I ordered the Gemini lipstick from Bite Beauty. Well, my order included a sample of Agave lip masks. You can view the video sharing my order here.
The lip masks samples were three shades: Champagne, Natural, and Smashed. The purpose of the lip mask is to give your lips conditioning hydration along with a light pop of color.
I tried the champagne lip mask first. It was a bit sticky but it did give my lips a nice sheen. I didn’t really notice any tint of color but I did feel it hydrated my lips.
In this photo, you see my lips have a pink tint to them. I liked that the agave mask can be used to fit your needs. So if you suffer from dry lips this may help. I found that the mask lasted a few hours. It didn’t leave a film on my lips or leave them feeling waxy. I think was able to get a few days worth of usage from that one sample> You may need to reapply the agave mask as you see fit. I didn’t have any adverse reactions or lip irritation after using it. I also found that this would be a great base to use under lipstick too.
All in all, it was a nice sample to try. Again it since the lip masks have agave in them they can be a bit sticky. Besides that I found them to be very worthwhile. You can learn more about the agave lip masks by visiting the link below.
