This is the second set of water color pencils I have been lucky enought to review at a discounted price I was happy when I was approved by Art of Color via tomoson.com I love arts supplise. Granted I may not use them all the tiem but every once and a while when the mood strikes I doodle my little hear out.
this set offers the following items:
48 water color pencils, 1 carrying case, 1 eraser, 1 pencil sharpener, 1 paint brush, 1 ruler and one battery operated pencil sharpener.
As you can see the pencils come in a very nice tin they are also pre-sharpened. the paint brush is included in the set of pencils.
The colors rang from white , black to various shades of yellows, greens, blues, a few reds and pinks to browns and grays as well. the pencils them selves are a soft leaded pencil.
The carrying case is great because it keeps everything organized and allows you to keep everything in one place. the case is a canvas with leather accent. It can be rolled up for easy storage or when on the go. As you can see it also has a slot for your ruler and pencil sharpener and eraser along with the paint brush.
the paint brush bristles are very soft and flexible the eraser is a standard art eraser as is the small pencil sharpener.
The eraser worked well at eliminating any stray marks.
the battery operated pencil sharpener is neat because it can be used two ways. Battery powered or manually. It runs on 2 AA batteries and has a switch that allows you to turn the battery mode on or off.
