I was able to try a complementary bottle of Alive Women’s gummy mutli-vitamins recently. The bottle arrived about a week ago.

I don’t usually take gummy vitamins but figured it would be worth a try.

the product

These vitamins are sold by Nature’s Way. You can take two gummies daily. The flavor is mixed berry. I have an opinion on the flavor but I’ll get that in a bit.

The vitamins are sold in a plastic jar that has a screw on top.

A note about the top: The top is one of those push down and turn style lids. I had a bit of a hard time opening it at first. The lid just clicked and loosened but didn’t open. I finally opened it on the third try.

I will say it does have the typical vitamins such as A, E B’s, C and D.

the gummies

Okay I will admit I’ve tried gummy products in the past but many of them weren’t like this one. Alive has a bit of a dense gummy. It’s also very opaque. They aren’t a traditional squishy gummy. I don’t know if this is the case for every bottle or the consistency varies.

The gummies are shaped like a bunch of grapes and have two colors. They are purple and raspberry. The flavor is mixed berry.

The gummies didn’t stick together in the bottle and were easy to shake into your hand.

The gummies are easy to chew and didn’t seem to stick to my teeth too much. But the density of them was a bit different.

Let’s talk flavor for a second

Okay I will admit I found the flavor off putting. The raspberry colored gummy was a bit too bitter and had an aftertaste to it. I don’t know if this was supposed to be the cause because it was mixed berry. Or if it was indeed supposed to be raspberry flavored.

The aftertaste reminded me of artificial sweetener or an anti-caking agent.

The purple gummy was a bit sweeter and didn’t have such a harsh aftertaste to it.

Did they work?

I took them for over a week as with any new health product you will need time to see results. For me I didn’t feel any different.

I didn’t notice any real energy boosts or any adverse reactions.

What I did notice

I noticed that my body couldn’t process the gummy formula very well. I didn’t feel bloated or anything like that I just felt that my digestive system wasn’t fond of the product. I don’t know if they slowed by digestion or what but the gummy formula wasn’t for me.

Final thoughts and where to buy

final thoughts

Overall the Alive Gummy women’s multi-vitamins were a unique product. The gummies are a bit denser then I’m used too. I also wasn’t fond of the mixed berry flavor. I liked the purple ones better then the raspberry colored ones.

They are convenient to take if you like gummy vitamins they didn’t stick to my teeth or cause me any real adverse reactions.

I don’t think i will finish the bottle though.

Where to buy

The Alive vitamins are so in a few different quantity bottles. I was sent a 60 count bottle.
