Well, I had another hardship loan call today. it came from a restricted number like all the others have. This time the voicemail number was from a 209 area code. Which is linked to Northern California.

The new twist is that they have gone back to the original you are approved for a 37 thousand dollar loan which is pending. But here’s the kicker the call back number is now a 1-800 number. It’s a 1-844 number to be exact.

So basically this scam keeps updating in order to try to seem more and more legit. Jeff called me today who sounds once again suspiciously like a robot.

Here’s the text from the voicemail:

The number that left the voice email is 1-209-299-1972

Hey it’s Jeff, I am following up with the financial hardship department. I’m not sure if you have spoken to an assigned agent yet regarding our hardship program. But i do see your aproved for a hardship loand of up to 37 thousand dollars. So what I’m going to do is put this in a pending satus. And If you have about 5 minutes today go ahead and give me a call back so we can go over the details. My number is 1-844-876-8342 I will be here until 5 today Pacific. Again my number is 1-844-876-8342 thank you.

text of voicemail left by Jeff from the Hardship loan department

here is the voicemail message audio

Jeff Hardship loan call 12-12-2022

Remember these are scam calls don’t reply back or call the number back. It’s probably a phishing attempt to gain personal information.
