Like I posted earlier I Â gave this interview a second listen today. Well, my mom enjoyed listening to the interview as well. This eventually lead to the chat of why I like @nineinchnails along with why I like Trent Reznor.Â
I stood there looking at her as she said: “is it because he was popular when you were in high school?” I, of course, am like “Uh…” To be honest I go through phases as I’ve mentioned in other posts deal with music. I finally replied, “I don’t know mom why do I like anything I like.” She took that reply well. I joked that I could hear Trent Reznor read the phone book because I just enjoy his voice. She found that funny.Â
Getting back to the interview for a second. it is well worth the listen. My mom found it fascinating. I did as well even if I’d already heard it.
But like with most things we can chalk up my love of all things NIN and Reznor related to having no rhyme or reason. I may outgrow this phase like with most things but so far it’s been holding strong for a few years.
