Have you Tried Similasan? If not here’s why you should

I’ve been using Similasan eye drops off and on for years now. I like that they use natural active ingredients and are dye-free.

That being said when Similasan reached out to me and asked if I’d like to participate in an upcoming promotion I jumped at the chance.

Who is Similasan?

Similasan is a brand that has been around for over 30 years. The company originated in Switzerland. They offer various Homeopathic products.

They sell eye drops and ear products as well.

The products I was gifted

I was gifted 4 products. They are from the eye drop selection.

I’ve tried all of these over the years except for the single-use product.

Allergy Eye relief drops

I’ve used this product off and on over the years. I like that the bottles are easy to use and they are glass. The drops always soothe my eyes.

The allergy eye relief drops include natural active ingredients and are dye-free. They are also gluten and dairy-free.

Two key ingredients in the eye drops are Eyebright (Euphrasia) and Sabadilla lily (Sabadilla) (source SmilasanUSA).

The life of the eye drops is around 30 days after opening.

Overall I’ve liked the eye drop I haven’t had any adverse reactions. This may have to do with the fact that they don’t have a lot of harsh chemicals in them.

I’ve also found them soothing to the eyes. I also liked that the drops are sold in a glass container.

Always check the drops before applying to make sure the color hasn’t changed from clear to cloudy. If the latter has happened that means you need a new bottle.

usage

The allergy eye relief drops can be used as needed. You apply 2 to 3 drops into the eye.

if you wear contacts you may want to consult your doctor before using these eye drops.

Since the drops are homeopathic there is no known risk of side effects. But it is always wise to consult your doctor before trying a new product.

Allergy eye relief single-use

This product is the same formulation as the allergy eye relief drops but in an easy-to-carry form. The box contains 20 single-use vials (4ct of 5 vials each).

The single-use allergy eye relief product is made from the same ingredients as the one sold in bottle form.

usage

Since these are individual tubes you apply 1 to 2 drops per eye as needed. You will need to open a new tube for each application.

Dry eye relief

I’ve used the dry eye relief drops as well. I liked that they helped refresh and soothe my dry eyes.

These also offer natural active ingredients and come in a glass bottle.

The active ingredient in this eye drop is  Eyebright (Euphrasia) (source SimilasanUSA).

usage

The dry eye relief drops can be used 1 to 2 drops per eye as needed.

This also expires 30 days after opening the bottle. Also, check the drops before use to make sure they haven’t become cloudy.

why i like these products

As I mentioned before they are homeopathic and they aren’t filled with harsh chemicals or vasoconstrictors. I also like that they come in a glass bottle.

Overall the products have helped soothe my dry or allergy irritated eyes. This may be a temporary relief but it helps nonetheless.

The price point is also affordable and these products can be found at many retailers online and in stores.
