So i thought i’d share this product with all of you. It arrived yesterday I was able to request it via Try It Sampling. The Alpine Industries Outdoor/indoor trash can is a unique design. It’s compact yet sturdy. It has a domed lid with an ashtray on top. They also have another version without the ashtray.
The product size is the following: 32.6 x 15.1 x 15 inches
The trashcan is all plastic and the ashtray is metal. According to what i read online the interior will remain germ-free. The lid has access on all four sides so this would be great for a workplace, lunch area, daycare, or even a laundry room. The lid slides on the base with little resistance.
I liked the overall compact design. It’s lightweight (under 5 lbs) it’s easy to carry if you have to move it. However, it would have been nice if the trashcan base had a handhold or notch to make it easier to carry.
You can use the trashcan alone or place another smaller round trashcan inside. If you don’t need to use the ashtray you can use it to store extra bags. Since the trashcan is square in shape you may need to purchase the correct trash bags.
I used a 32 gallon trash bag and it fit well. We will be using this in our garage.
