I happened to see a free sample request AD via Instagram recently. SkinCeuticals was giving away a sample tube of their Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 cream. I hadn’t tried anything from this brand before so I figured I’d request it.

The sample arrived fairly quickly and was sent a small box. The tube I was sent was a 0.13 fl oz in size.

The product

The SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 cream is stated to help improve skin tone and texture. The product may take up to 8 weeks before a user may see results. Of course, results may vary by user. You can use the product twice daily morning and evening. According to SkinCeuticals, it can also be used with a retinol product. That being mentioned you may want to double-check with the brand prior to purchase.

User Experience

As I mentioned the sample tube I was sent was only 0.13 Fl oz so i didn’t have many uses. I think i used it around 2 times.

Overall the product is hydrating. I didn’t feel that my skin was oily or greasy. I thought it absorbed quickly. I didn’t have any adverse skin reactions. I did feel a slight tingling or warming but I didn’t have any burning. I didn’t have any redness either.

Again the product is creamy and not heavy. I liked that I didn’t have any adverse reactions with my existing skincare products.

Can I say it rally improved my skin after two uses? No I can’t. I did like that it wasn’t scented.

final thoughts

Overall the SKINCEUTICALS TRIPLE LIPID RESTORE 2:4:2 is a lightweight product. It absorbs well without leaving your face feeling sticky or tacky. it also isn’t oily. I didn’t have any adverse reactions

As far as improvement to my skin I can’t say it did much. Yet I only used it twice because those are the uses the sample tube allowed for.

Now let’s talk about price. The SKINCEUTICALS TRIPLE LIPID RESTORE 2:4:2 is high end.
A 1.6 fl oz jar retails for $128 USD.

I also found the product on Amazon for around the same price. It can also be found at a few skincare retailers as well.

For me, that is out of my usual skincare budget. But I am thankful I was able to try the sample tube.

Thanks to SkinCeuticals for this sample.
