This product is another in the Spiced Skincare line. This post goes along with the one I posted yesterday. This product was included in a box I purchased recently from Poshly for $10.
Product overview
Like the face scrub Spiced Skincare The Original Cinnamon Face Mask has cinnamon in it. It is stated to help boost collagen production. It may also help with fine lines and wrinkles.
You apply an even layer to your face and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. You can use it weekly.
I applied the mask to a dried face. I used this after using the Spiced Skincare The Original Cinnamon Face Scrub.
The mask was a lighter shade of brown. It’s very smooth in texture.
Like with the face scrub you may want to use a spatula or spoon to remove the product from the jar.
I did notice that the face mask is a bit looser in consistency. This may have been do to the fact that it settled or possibly separated a bit during shipping. It’s not very runny or water but you can tell it’s a bit thinner then a general face mask.
This isn’t a bad thing because once you move it around it starts to congeal again.

User experience
Since this was the firs time I was using the product i only used the amount i scooped out with the spatula. I wasn’t sure how my skin would react or if the mask would dry quickly.
I dotted the mask onto my skin and worked it outward in a circular motion. I was surprised to see that it changed color as i blended it.
Since I wasn’t sure of how much to apply I only added a thin layer. As I worked the mask into my skin I noticed the cinnamon scent. I also noticed a slight scent of citrus and possibly coffee.
The mask did change color as I blended it into the skin. Once you apply it fully to your face you leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.
Unlike most masks I’m used to using this one didn’t feel heavy on the face. This may have been do to the fact that I didn’t apply a large amount.
After 10 to 15 minutes the mask does change color. It begins to darken. Or that’s what i noticed on my skin tone.
For me as it dried to seemed to turn a cinnamon color. I didn’t feel any tightening or uncomfortable feeling to my skin.
You can rinse the mask off with warm water. I would suggested that you use a washcloth to make sure you remove all of the mask. I liked that it rinsed clean and didn’t leave my skin red or irritated.
I didn’t notice that it stained my face or hands. It didn’t leave any stains in my sink either.
Final thoughts
I liked Spiced Skincare The Original Cinnamon Face Mask. It’s light and left my skin very smooth and soft. I didn’t feel any irritation or have any redness. I didn’t have any other adverse reactions to my skincare products when I applied them either.
