It doesn’t matter if you chose to use the word self isolation or quarantine. We can all say that our current times are hard on us. I know some are struggling with being home do to job furloughs. It doesn’t matter if your alone or with others you can still feel the affects of this time.

I’m self-isolating with my parents. That’s not so bad but it can get a bit trying. I think we all feel rather stagnant because we are used to our routines. Which may include going to work or just running errands aside from essential trips to the grocery store.

I’ve been trying my best to keep my usual routine. I know that if i watch endless hours of Amazon Prime it’s not good for me. I also can’t watch non-stop coverage of COVID-19 updates either it’s too much of a stressor for me.

we’re all dealing with something

We’re all dealing with something besides the worry of COVID-19. I know a lot of people are feeling lonely even if you are living with someone. I understand that this new dynamic has changed many relationships as well.

I’m single so I’m basically gonna stick it out on my own for now. I was hoping to meet someone this year but for the time being, I’m guessing I’ll just keep things the way they are for now. I think being single at a time like this is hard for some. Especially if you live alone because if you were used to general interaction outside your home.

I know many couples are having issues with this new dynamic too. I also know a few people who are going through relationship issues such as breakups. So i would think this is a major struggle if you were used to having a kind word or touch from someone you love.

We’re all dealing with something aside from being stuck at home I’ve seen endless posts via social media where people are grumbling about things. All I can say is we can’t all make it into our first world or first person issues. Many are struggling with much more then a petty issue that may be facing you today.

Again this isn’t the end of the world but we’ll get through it.

one thing i know for sure

One thing I know for sure is that this new way of life for us is giving us lots of time to think. It’s also having some of us reassess our priorities. I for one am trying to be more creative and get tasks done I’ve been putting off. Granted not everyone feels the need to do this but it’s an example all the same. I’ve also tried my best to keep up to date with those I love.

Being home even if your working may shed a light on something you didn’t realize before too. Maybe some of you are coming to terms with the fact that you like working from home. Again that’s just an example. You’re all allowed to figure out what works for you and what you’ve been reassessing in your life.

Things we can be happy about

I think we can all find something to be happy about. I know this time is frustrating, stressful and hard but there’s something to be happy about. You can be glad you and your family are healthy. You can fill in the blanks for what you’re happy about. You can also change the word fro happy to whatever you like.

I know it’s hard

I know this time is hard on all of us but we’ll make it through. I think we will all find ways to cope with self isolation. This is giving us new ways to connect with others. We may be learning new skills as well.

I for one am trying my best to not feel so down. Granted at times my feelings win but as long as we try our best to stay positive we should overcome this.

If anyone feels like chatting I’ll do my best to listen.
