Back in 2019, I happened to see a post via social media that Wild Spirit Fragrances was giving away free samples. Being that I like to try new scents I requested the samples. I think I requested them via Wild Spirit’s Facebook page.
The post stated that you could be sent up to three fragrance vials. Like with most sample requests I filled out what was required and forgot about it.
My sample arrival
As I mentioned above I didn’t think much about the sample request. But one day a small box arrived and it included my sample pouch and three fragrance vials.
The cloth pouch included a notecard and a fragrance info sheet. I was sent one solid plastic test spritzer and two glass vials.
A little more about the fragrances
So my pouch included three vials. One sample spritzer and two glass vials. They were color-coded. Two pink caps and one blue one.
The solid spritzer bottle is filled with Rosy Glow
The glass vial is filled with a blue lid is Driftwood
The second glass vial is filled with Spring Jasmine
Rosy Glow
The Rosy Glow sent is very light and does have a high rose essence. It’s not too overly flora but you do notice the rose hints. Overall it is light and airy. You don’t have to overspray to catch the fragrance. I would think if someone is a bit sensitive to rose scent this one can be used sparingly. I felt that as the scent settles or mellows the rose scent blooms. The spritzer has a concentrated spray pattern so I just sprayed some on my wrists.
Spring Jasmine
This one is a bit of a sweeter scent. You do notice the hints of Jasmine and the extra flora notes that are added to it. Since this glass vial had a cap with an applicator strip so I applied it to my pulse points. It is a nice scent for spring or summer (in my opinion).
Driftwood
This sample was also in a glass vial with a cap that had an applicator strip. This scent to me was the most mellow of the three. It’s a bit more subtle and a tad more musky in scent. It had hints of fruity scent as well.
User experience
Overall I liked all the scents. I found them to fit my needs. I like to mix my scents during different times of the year. I also like to switch scents so I can try something new. In terms of wear time, it was about average. I wore them for about 3 hours or so before I noticed they were beginning to fade. Again this may vary from person to person. It may also depend on how much you apply as well.
I didn’t have any skin irritation or adverse reactions to any of the fragrances which is always a plus.
Final thoughts
I liked the Wild Spirit Fragrances samples very much. From the listing on their website, the bottles seem to be around $30 each. They also offer a few other scents and other items as well. I liked that the scents were light and didn’t seem to be too artificial. I also liked that they offered samples.
