It’s hard for me to believe we will be in a new decade in a few days. This realization got me to thinking. I thought where the fuck did the last 10 years go?
I know a lot can happen in 10 years. And it has for many people and probably me too. But I’m a bit strange, unlike other people I didn’t have any real major life changes in the last 10 years.
2010 seems like it was yesterday?
I don’t know about anyone else but to me, 2010 feels like it was only yesterday. Granted it’s been longer than that but it still feels like it was recent. But I also think 1995 was like 3 weeks ago too. So what does that tell you?
Good stuff did happen…
I’m not saying any good stuff didn’t happen over the last 10 years. It did but for me, it’s been low key. I can say I’ve been fortunate enough to see people get married and have families. Which is always great.
I can say I was able to attend a few concerts over the last 10 years. I’ve also enjoyed my fair share of music as well. One of the best things I’ve enjoyed over the last 10 years is getting into blogging. It’s a great way to share your thoughts with others. FYI I’m not saying I’m good at it I just enjoy it.
All in all the last 10 years have been better than other years in my life. So I guess I shouldn’t complain too much.
The next 10 years…
Well, we’ll see what will happen in the next time 10 years. Who knows maybe things will get better for me. All I can say is that I’ll probably still be thinking about this post on Dec. 31st at 10:30 p.m. Either way where the fuck did the last 10 years go?
