@Regranned from @thirstycamelcocktails – Next up in my Celestial Cocktail series is In Love and War, a cocktail for Mars, the planet that has been a constant subject of Sci-fi films and books for us for decades now. Boasting the largest volcano in the solar system at three times the height of Mount Everest, and a Grand Canyon of sorts that is as long as the United States is wide, Mars’ landscape is somewhat formidable. There are constant dust storms that cover the planet in never-ending swirl of red haze. Click on the link in my profile for more Mars facts. For the cocktail, I went with a riff on a classic martini called the San Francisco. i shook, rather than stirred, which I would never do, but it gave the drink the hazy, swirly quality I was looking for. Cheers, everyone!
